Slow broadband
Our BT Broadband Accelerator service can help ensure you're getting the best speed available on your line. Often slow broadband speeds can be due to problems with internal telephone extensions or your home computer.

We can help:
- Check you're getting the best speeds available on your line
- Give you advice about internal telephone extensions and making sense of all the cables
- Run a computer health check and optimise your settings
- Get your microfilters set up correctly
We will test your existing speed over the phone, and see if a Broadband Accelerator visit can improve your speed by at least 0.5Mb.

If we can improve your speed we will then book your engineer visit to optimise your home computer, internal wiring and home networks. This usually gives customers a speed increase of 1.0Mb or more.

If we cannot improve your broadband speed by at least 0.5Mb you won't be charged for any part of this service.

Removing viruses and spyware
Keeping your antivirus and firewall software up to date should keep you protected, but occasionally problems can occur. We can help cure viruses and solve spyware problems for you – and give you advice on how to avoid them in the future.

Symptoms of viruses or spyware:
- Your computer keeps crashing or not starting up properly
- Slow internet connection or inconsistent performance from your computer
- Identified threats from your anti-virus software

One of the most common IT problems is a crashing, or slow-running computer. It can be frustrating when can't seem to find the solution, so ask us to call you back and we'll find it for you!
