The legal stuff
BT Unlimited Broadband is now totally unlimited. It may take up to five days to remove previous peer to peer traffic management from your broadband service.
Inclusive calls in excess of an hour and all non-inclusive calls will be charged at 9 pence per minute. Non-inclusive calls are subject to a 15 pence call setup fee.
BT Sport – Available 1 Aug. Residential broadband customers only. BT broadband customers can watch BT Sport online at home with a minimum line speed of 400kbps. To watch BT Sport online elsewhere you need 3G/4G/wifi (charges may apply).To watch BT Sport at btsport.com you need Microsoft Silverlight. The BT Sport App works on iPhone (3GS and above), iPad (iOS 5.1.1 and above) & selected Android devices with OS 4.0). BT Broadband speeds BT offers maximum download speeds of up to 16Mb in high speed areas, based on the technology available. You can get up to 16 Mb speeds in around 80% of the UK. Other factors affecting speed include distance from the exchange, internal home wiring and time of day. We'll always offer the best available speed on your line.

BT Infinity speeds referred to are download speeds; speeds affected by various factors including distance from the cabinet, time of day and internal home wiring. If your line won't support our top speed, we'll offer the best speed available. We'll always offer the best available speed on your line.
BT Home Hub 3.0 – BT Home Hub 3.0 is available as an upgrade to existing BT Broadband customers for £49 and a £6.95 delivery charge applies. If you currently use the BT Broadband Talk service, this will no longer work with your new BT Home Hub 3. If you already have a BT Home Hub, the warranty on your current Hub will be removed once you receive your new BT Home Hub 3.
Wireless connection – Our Home Hub uses 'N' technology and Smart Wireless, which selects the strongest channel. You'll need a wireless device and for the best results, one that uses 'N' technology. Your home environment may affect the range of your connection.

What do you mean by "exclusions apply"?
We want to give everyone the best possible speeds at all times, so we only manage speeds on P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing networks at peak times. All other broadband use isn't affected – and there's no limit to how much you can download.
Does this mean I can't download as much as I want?
Absolutely not. We just manage the speed on P2P networks, and only at peak time, to ensure everyone gets the best service. You can still download as much as you want without any limitations.
