Introducing Extra TV channels with Vision+
We've picked a selection of great TV channels and created two new TV packs. There are 18 fantastic channels including Discovery, Comedy Central, British Eurosport and Gold. Whether you love documentaries, comedies, crime, dramas or sports, there's something for everyone on Extra TV channels with Vision+.
You'll need to take one of our BT Infinity packages to get extra TV channels. Use our checker to see if you can get Extra TV channels and Infinity.
Catch up on your favourite shows
Missed a show? Extra TV Channels includes 7 days of TV catch up from Discovery, Discovery Real Time, Animal Planet, FOX, HISTORY, and Crime & Investigation with more channels coming. There's plenty to keep you entertained.
You'll also get 7 days of TV catch up from BBC iPlayer, ITV on demand, 4oD and Demand 5 all available to watch on your TV.
HD channels
The Extra TV channel packages include free access to BBC, ITV and Channel 4 HD channels allowing you to enjoy incredible picture detail in richer, more life like colours. Plus, you can also record in HD.
Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, and ESPN
Add Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and ESPN to your package for magnificent live sport. Get all the live sports on TV including 115 live Barclays Premier League games, selected live games from UEFA Champions League and La Liga.
BT Vision on demand
BT Vision has over 5,500 shows available including the best UK and US TV shows, blockbuster (pay per view) and classic films, Kids shows with no ads, and more. It's like having your own DVD library, but with more choice!

Things you need to know
Things you need to know about Extra TV channels:
- Extra TV channels are only available with a BT Infinity package. Your broadband speed needs to be over 15mbps.
- These channels are delivered over BT Infinity which means your Vision+ box will need to be connected to your Hub whilst viewing the channels.
- Audio description and subtitles are currently unavailable on the Extra TV channels, these services will be available in the future.
- Other online activities may be slowed down whilst you're watching Extra TV channels. We recommend you switch off your Vision+ box when you're not watching or recording these channels.
- Your BT Vision+ box and Hub will need to be connected directly together with an ethernet cable.
Getting the best picture
BT Vision box+ comes with our top 50 box office movies in stunning HD. You'll also get access to BBC HD, BBC One HD, Channel 4 HD and ITV HD.
You'll need to connect your Vision+ Box to an HD ready TV with an HDMI cable to watch HD channels.

Already have BT Vision+
All Extra TV channels including Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and ESPN are only available to BT Vision customers who are on or take a BT Infinity package. Not everyone who is eligible for BT Infinity is able to receive Extra TV Channels.
The legal stuff
Extra TV channels – Available to new and existing broadband customers that sign up to a 12-month TV Essential Extra contract. If you've got less than 12 months left on your Infinity contract, you'll need to re-contract to Infinity for another 12 months. HD ITV1 not available in NI or Scotland. HD and Blockbuster films cost extra. HD requires a HD ready TV and a HDMI cable (supplied with new, but not replacement boxes). You'll need a minimum line speed of 15Mbps. You will be charged £49 if you are a new BT TV customer or require a replacement box for Extra TV Channels. New to Infinity 1 and Unlimited Infinity 1 customers will also be charged £30 activation. You'll need a BT Home Hub 3. A 10 metre cable or Engineer Install will be provided if required. Quality of content depends on local transmitter, suitable rooftop aerial and availability of digital channels. You'll need to pay by Direct Debit and we'll charge you for On Demand content. Subject to availability. Terms apply.
BT Vision – £49 activation. £6.95 hub delivery charge. To get BT Vision you'll need to sign up to a 12-month TV contract and an 18-month contract for BT Broadband or Infinity (existing BT Broadband customers with less than 12 months left on their contract need to re-contract their Broadband for 12 months). TV Essential is £5 a month. TV Unlimited is £12.50 a month. If you stop your service in the first year we'll charge you up to £199. ITV catch-up not available in NI. You'll need a fast enough line and a BT Home Hub (included if you haven't already been given one). Quality of content depends on local transmitter, suitable rooftop aerial and availability of digital channels (www.bt.com/freeview).
