To make sure you get off to a great start, we'll send an engineer round to set up your new BT Infinity broadband connection at no extra cost.

Your order

When you order we'll give you the earliest broadband installation date available, but you can change it before your confirm your order if it's not convenient.

Your new equipment

You'll need two pieces of equipment. You'll get your new BT Home Hub two days before your installation date and your engineer will bring your BT Infinity modem and install both for you.

Power sockets

We'll need to plug in your fibre modem into the master phone socket so please make sure you have two power sockets available next to it – if you don't, please have a power extension cable available.

Before installation

On your installation day, the engineer will call you before connecting you to fibre broadband.

Installing BT Infinity in your home

The engineer may install a small data extension kit and some extension cabling within your home if needed to make sure your equipment gives you the fastest possible speed.

Connecting you

That's it! You're now connected to BT Infinity super fast broadband.

To achieve the fastest possible speeds and make the most of BT Infinity we recommend you connect via an Ethernet cable. To achieve more than 100Mbps you will need to ensure that your PC has a GigE port and should connect via Ethernet cable to the GigE port on your home hub.
